Projects or programs funded in whole or in part with Federal grant money must credit the Federal government for the Federal government's portion of the financial support.
In compliance with the Stevens Amendment, the federal government has given Title I and Title II funds to Bradley School District #61 to support its local programs.
Public Law 101-166, Section 511, Steven's Amendment SEC. 511. When issuing statements, press releases, requests for proposals, bid solicitations and other documents describing projects or programs funded in whole or in part with Federal money, all grantees receiving Federal funds, including but not limited to Staten and local governments, shall clearly state (1) the percentage of the
total costs of the program or project which will be financed with Federal money , (2) the dollar amount of Federal funds for the
project or program, and (3) percentage and dollar amount of the total costs of the project or program that will be financed by nongovernmental sources.
In accordance with Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA), school districts who receive Title I funds to support students’ academic success are required to notify families they have the right to request, and receive in a timely manner, information regarding the professional qualifications of the student’s classroom teachers.
