Hello! My name is Mrs. Birr, and I am currently teaching Direct Instruction ELA classes for 7th grade at Bradley Central. I also Co-teach and collaborate with other ELA teachers. I live and grew up in Bradley, and attended Bradley schools for my entire K-12 education. I have been teaching since 2016, and have taught in this district since 2018. I graduated from ONU with a Bachelor in Special Education, and also carry endorsements for middle school Language Arts, Science, and Social Studies. My teaching philosophy is to open as many doors to learning, self advocacy, communication, and curiosity as I can for each and every student. I aspire for my classroom to be a space where students feel safe and cared for, so they can more readily walk through the doors we open for them.
