1:1 Technology Initiative Overview
Commencing with the 2018-2019 school year, Bradley School District 61 began a 1:1 technology initiative. Now in 2019-2020, Bradley School District has launched a 1:1 environment in all K-8 classrooms.
Sixth-Eighth grade students at Bradley Central will carry Chromebook devices throughout the day. Students in third-fifth grades at Bradley West will have 1:1 access to Chromebook devices in all classrooms. At Bradley East, students in K-2, will have iPads accessible in a 1:1 setting.
Bradley School District 61 focuses on providing students with the knowledge and skills to become lifelong learners. The 1:1 initiative inspires teachers and students to engage in learning, understanding grade level standards and key concepts through traditional and digital materials. These devices allow students and teachers access to a variety of resources at all achievement levels and participate in differentiated learning activities based on the skills and concepts students need to learn.
