Student Teaching at BESD61

Bradley Elementary School District 61 believes the ongoing growth of the profession and of each staff member within the organization are fundamental components of our mission.  This environment results in an emphasis on professional reflection and innovation, which result in increased learning opportunities for students.  To student teach in BESD61, the college or university Student Teaching Placement Office should initiate the student teaching request process by sending all applicant materials to:

In order to process a background check, a student teacher packet will need to be filled out and received by the district office.  The packet can be picked up at the district office or downloaded here Student Teacher Packet.

Once the packet is complete, the district office will contact you to set up an appointment for a background check.
