This will be my third year working in the education field as a school social worker. I have had experience working with students between the ages of preschool to tenth grade. I went to Governors State University for my bachelor's degree (community health) and master's degree (social work-with school specialization). I graduated with my master's degree in May 2020. Prior to completing my master's degree, I worked as a paraprofessional in Kankakee county for the 2018-2019 school year. My role as a school social worker: to work with students and families to meet their social, emotional, and behavioral needs related to school.
