Hello!  My name is Mrs. Dickenson. I grew up in Kankakee before journeying to the University of Illinois, where I earned a BS in Broadcast Journalism.  I continued my education at Olivet Nazarene University where I earned a Master's degree in teaching.  I taught 5th graders at Bradley West School for 20 years, and then I started my new adventure as the LASST teacher at Bradley Central in 2021.

I am married, have two beautiful daughters, and a loveable yellow lab named Archie.

I enjoy photography, gardening, reading, hiking, working out and making crafts.

In LASST class, we will be learning so many things! These are just a handful of the projects we create: stop motion animation, movie editing using We Video, coding with Finch robots, Google Applications, and so much more. In addition, eighth graders this year will learn about Broadcast Journalism and will work to create a TV news program called "The Knightly News." I am so excited for the good things to come!
