Jazz

  • This is an ensemble that rehearses Tuesday and Thursday mornings at 7am throughout the school year.  This ensemble performs at the Fine Arts Concerts, Competitions, and Workshops throughout the year. The Jazz Band is an audition only group, and students are expected to practice their instruments outside of the scheduled rehearsal times.  This is a fast moving group, with high expectations of musicianship.

    • The Jazz Band is a select group of 7th and 8th grade Band Students. 
    • They rehearse at 7am every Tuesday and Thursday morning throughout the school year.
    • They perform at area contests and festivals. 
    • The Jazz Band has a long history of Superior ratings at the IESA Organizational Contest.
