Mrs. Elizabeth Turner
Welcome! I graduated from Olivet Nazarene University in May, 2017 and began teaching at Bradley East in August, 2017.
Throughout my own education experience, and through the experiences I've had working with children in many different situations, I have developed a passion for teaching and encouraging students who face disabilities. I believe every person has inherent value and something to contribute to the world around them, and I want to be a light that can shine in and encourage them to overcome whatever challenges they may be facing. I've personally experienced the benefit words of affirmation and an open, encouraging community can have on someone's self esteem and growth academically, emotionally, and socially. I have enjoyed the past few years teaching at Bradley East, and am excited to continue to build relationships and connections in this community at Bradley West this year.
This year, I am co-teaching with Mrs. Morrison in 4th grade. Co-teaching allows me to educate and meet the needs of students with IEPs through whole group teaching as well as offer small group focused instruction.
