Dear Bradley 61 Parents:
Thank you for your amazing support over the past several weeks, as we have worked together to protect our families, school children and communities during the growing coronavirus/COVID-19 pandemic. Illinois Governor J.B. Pritzker, continues to have the “stay at home” order closure for communities and all public schools through Tuesday, April 7. At this time, schools are still tentatively scheduled to resume on Wednesday, April 8.
The State Superintendent Ayala, announced last night that starting March 31 through April 7 will be designated as Remote Learning Days. Our administrators will review this information over the weekend and I will send additional information regarding these days and what expectations we have for our students.
During these Remote Learning Days, students will continue to be provided learning opportunities for their education. Building administration and teaching staff will continue to communicate with students by different methods; email, school webpages, online resources, social media, printed packets, and online platforms (i.e. zoom, class Dojo, etc.).
Printed Education Materials
Parents can pick up printed education materials on Tuesday, March 31 from 8:15 am -1:15 pm at all three buildings (front door entrances).
Breakfast and Lunch – Pick up (March 30 Only) – 10:00 am – 12:00 pm (Bradley Central)
We will provide sack breakfast and lunch “grab and go” for all Bradley 61 students on Monday, March 30 from 10:00 am – 12:00 pm at Bradley Central. It will include meals for the rest of the week (five days total). This is the only day that food will be available. Please enter through the front entrance at the Bradley Central School. Future dates and times will be shared for the following week.
During these Remote Learning Days, Tuesday, March 31 through April 7, teachers will be available from 8:15 am – 1:15 pm to assist students; answer any questions, receive emails, add materials to the school webpages, and communicate through online flatforms.
We will also continue to update you by email and/or voice message on any new developments. Governor Pritzker and State Superintendent Ayala will continue to update us daily.
Thank you for your understanding and support. If you have questions, please feel free to contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org or contact your building principal at their school email account.
Dr. Scott A. Goselin
