The Illinois Elementary School Assosication has reversed their decision regarding the cancellation of fall sports due to the newly updated guidelines from IDPH and the governor's office. Baseball, Softball, and Cross-Country have all been deemed 'low risk', according to 'The All Sports Document.'
What this means - Bradley Central softball, baseball, and cross-country are back on for practices and interscholastic competitions. We will have a regular season and a limited state series. Sign-Ups for Baseball, Softball, and Cross-Country will be held at Bradley Central on Monday, August 3rd from 8am-9:30am; and 5pm-6:30pm. Also on Tuesday, August 4th from 7am-9am. Parents will need bring an updated copy of your athlete's sports physical. Three forms will need to be completed:
1. Emergency Contact 2. Concussion Education 3. Bradley Central Code of Conduct
Softball practice will begin on Tuesday, August 4th at BBYSL fields from 3:30pm-5pm. Baseball practice will begin on Tuesday, August 4th at Bradley East Field from 3:30pm-5pm. Cross-Country practice will begin on Wednesday, August 12th. Athletes will meet at Bradley Central at 3pm. Transportation will be provided to and from Davis Creek.
